Hello guys i saw some of you got some problems with connecting to our server RED maybe you should try this in console

first at all run your ET as ADMIN

1. /cl_allowdownload 1

2. /cl_wwwdownload 1

3. /vid_restart

4. /connect 81.169.216.22:27960

MMFB´s option also usefull

1. /sv_allowdownload 1

2. /sv_wwwdownload 1

3. /vid_restart

4. /connect 81.169.216.22:27960

Now you dont need the /vid_restart In random servers i cant download i type in /cl_wwwdownload 1 then /cl_allowdownload 1 And then i just reconnect and it works (this will only work with cl_ not sv_

not with this I tried without vid_restart on sv it didnt work for me

yh but better option and recommended by mods developers is sv_ so i suggest that but both will work

Lagger is right:

cl_ = client engine command (changes game behaviour for players)
sv_ = server engine command (chages game behaviour for servers)

By default download should be enabled and allowed. If you still need to activate it, use cl_. If you still encounter problems I recommend you to reinstall ET with the customer Installer from www.etkey.org. This will work 99%.

+1 sir i know that as well that sv_ is for server side but i always uses that and it work awesome for me as sometimes d_ isnt working correct some time for me
