Have been asked about these quite a bit on servers so I changed the title.

Back up your profiles.
Note* any cahnges you make to your profile in Silent Mod will not carry over to other Mods eg:jaymod, etpub etc.
Might as well back up your ET key while your at it, modifying your profile won't affect your key but it is a good thing to back up.
Note** It has been brought to my attention etkey is not used in Silent and Nitmod, so you have to backup silent.dat and nkey.dat which can be found in their respective mod folders.

Here are a few links that may help you on your Vsay quest.
Voice Chats: You'll notice it is all one word no space, eg: enemyweak may be why some did not work for you.  
use lower case in vsays medic not Medic.

To add location, players names etc.. to your vsays include bracket command []
[a] last person who gave you ammo
[d] last person who killed you
[h] last person who gave you health
[k] last person you killed
[r] last person who revived you
[l] your current location
[n] your name
[s] your health
[w] your current weapon
[t] total ammo in current weapon
[p] person in your crosshairs

eg:  "vsay cheer Your head go Boom [k]!"
Would of course cheer and say:   Your head go Boom Shoot!
you get the idea.

or put a few in:
"vsay_team medic HELLLPP!! [n] at [l] Health [s]"

add some color:
"vsay_team medic ^1HELLLPP!! [n] ^1at ^7[l] ^1Health ^7[s]"

Clear as mud?

Nickname Tool: drop down shows you the different symbols to use in order to get the color you want.
Added Bonus: For those that don't know, A place to go test out the map you thought was cool.
Map Testing
Just click on the map you want, above the name of the map you will see " Test this map on our servers" click that, choose the server/Mod you want to use, click start, you can join server here using differant programs or copy address and enter it in ET.

Sorry Rambo was busy looking at a new house today and didn't get to this until now.
Best way is to make a binds.cfg, saves messing around with your config.
Open your text editor, new document and enter all your binds. ( I read notepad++ is better for this than just plain notepad, I just use my Linux text editor it works fine.)

// means the game will read nothing after this so use it for comments.
Example:

bind i "vsay_team thanks Thanks!"

To Bind multiple says on one key do this:

*see what I done there substituted vsay welcome for vsay cheer, the bind will still work.  

when done save as binds.cfg in your etmain folder (I saved mine as b.cfg saves time in game) make sure when you save it that you save as all files not text or it will affix .txt to end: binds.cfg.txt this will not work, delete .txt off the end.
Now you joined the server and want your binds, open console, type: \exec binds you will see msg saying execing binds and that's it, my case I just type \exec b, will work on any server you join.

**Also to use number pad these are the keys:
KP_HOME
KP_UPARROW
KP_PGUP
KP_LEFTARROW
KP_5   (had trouble with this one taking over my num 5 key, I don't use it)
KP_RIGHTARROW
KP_END
KP_DOWNARROW
KP_PGDN
KP_INS
KP_DEL
KP_ENTER (I leave this one alone in case I want to join or leave a fireteam)

I know some of you (Rambo) are going to want to know how to include the new sounds in your vsays, I will tell you how I done it.   

Go in your etmain/silent folder, there you will see the soundpack sp6gixblue.pk3 (at the time of typing that is what it is called).

Open the sp6gixblue.pk3 with your zip application, inside you will see the .wav files play them find the ones you want and write the name down, the name of the file is the vsay
eg: bind F8 "vsay 30001 ^5I'm so lost!".
This way will only work with the custom vsays if you open the wm_allies_chat.voice file with your text editor you will see the sound scripts
eg: 
PathCleared
{
sound/chat/allies/11a.wav "Path cleared."
sound/chat/allies/11b.wav "Path cleared."
}

you will note the vsay command is up to the left "PathCleared"and they have two .wav files associated with that command now scroll down to "all below is blue-custom" and you will see luckily the command is the same as the .wav, not sure if they all are so if one is not working this could be the problem.
eg:
30001
{
sound/blue/30001.wav "Stupid..."
}

Clear as mud?
